Usually, the dough is poured directly into the bowl of the multicooker, which has been previously greased with butter or vegetable oil. Then, the finished cake is removed by flipping the bowl of the multicooker upside down onto a flat plate, a cutting board, or a device specifically designed for cooking with steam. A device for steaming can be either a bowl or a rack, but in any case, it is a very convenient tool for removing the cake without damaging it from a bowl with high sides. I would like to recommend two alternative methods for baking cakes (as well as muffins and sponge cakes) in a multicooker. The first one is to use foil molds, which are considered disposable but can be used multiple times. Knowing the diameter of your multicooker bowl, choose foil molds with suitable sizes. They are usually sold in sets of 3-5 or even in bulk. They will also come in handy for making various vegetable and cottage cheese casseroles! They are inexpensive, I purchased a pack of three at a fixed-price store (all for a very low price). Larger supermarkets or specialty stores sell these molds in larger quantities at affordable prices as well.

The second method is to use a silicone mold. With all the existing variety, it is also easy to find suitable ones in terms of size. The price range of silicone molds is very wide: from expensive branded ones to cheap ones, for example, at the same fixed price (as in the photo). Silicone molds are also useful for baking pies, cupcakes, biscuit cakes, and various casseroles.

Use either regular high-quality flour or a mixture of different types of flour. For example, combine high-quality flour with whole grain, rice, oat, or corn flour. Sift the flour (high-quality), combine it with a leavening agent, and add it to the resulting mixture. Mix well.

Wash and dry the fruits. Almost any fresh fruit is suitable for the pie: apples, pears, oranges, tangerines, plums, peaches, apricots, seedless grapes, etc. Any fruit can be added on its own or in combination with other fruits to taste. In addition, canned fruits, store-bought or homemade, are also good for the pie! The quantity and combination of fruits may vary, but the filling should preferably not be more voluminous than the dough, otherwise the pieces of the pie may fall apart.

Pour the dough into a greased bowl of a multicooker or a suitable greased pan, as mentioned above. If the pan is soft, i.e. silicone, first put it in the bowl, and then transfer the dough. This time I have a foil pan, and I must say that the capacity of my multicooker model is 5 liters. Place the prepared fruit pieces on the dough, in this case it is apples and pears. Press them into the dough evenly. The opposite option is also possible, i.e. first layer the pan with fruit pieces and then pour the dough. This variation is more suitable for grapes or very finely chopped selected fruits.

Close the lid of the multicooker and set the baking mode for one hour. During the baking process, do not open the lid or change the settings to any other (i.e. do not accelerate or slow down baking). After the audible signal, it is highly undesirable to leave the pie on a keep-warm mode, which is automatically activated in most models of multicookers. The edges of the pie may shrink, and droplets of condensation from the inner part of the multicooker lid may fall onto its surface. It is recommended to immediately reset the mode and gradually open the lid of the multicooker. Remove the pie with fruits using a convenient method, as mentioned above. Cool. Enjoy your tea time!
