Lazy Charlotte
Can you imagine that it only took 10 minutes to make this Charlotte? Yes, yes! And it's all because it's cooked in the microwave! I was amazed by the result - the Charlotte turned out tender, fluffy, porous, and very tasty!
Information
Ingredients
- Chicken egg1 piece
- Kefir50 ml
- Rice flour30 g
- Dough conditioner0.5 teaspoon
- Apple1 piece
- Sugar1 teaspoon
Directions
First, separate the yolk from the egg white. Place the yolk in a deep bowl, pour kefir of any fat content (you can also take sour cream, it will be delicious too) and sugar. Instead of sugar, you can use any sweetener. Whisk with a whisk until smooth.
Place the egg white in a blender bowl or another clean bowl and beat the egg whites on high speed with a blender or mixer until fluffy.
Peel the apple and cut it into small cubes.
Sift the rice flour with a raising agent into the kefir-yolk mixture, mix well. Instead of rice flour, you can use corn flour.
Add the apple to the obtained mixture and mix thoroughly.
Add the beaten egg whites and mix gently.
Transfer the dough into a mold (I used a small ceramic pot) or a wide cup of large volume and microwave for 5 minutes at a power of 800 W.
Make sure to check the readiness of the Charlotte with a toothpick - if you insert it into the finished dough and pull it out, it should be dry and clean. If you see dough sticking to it, return the Charlotte to the microwave for another 1 minute.
Remove the ready Charlotte from the mold. By the way, there is no need to grease the mold, dishes cooked in the microwave separate easily from the walls of the container in which they were cooked. Garnish the Charlotte as desired. I sprinkled it with powdered sugar and crushed nuts.
As you can see in the photo, the finished charlotte cake is fluffy, airy, and not at all wet! If you want to replace the ingredients with other products (for example, use a different flour, replace the egg with a banana, and use a different fruit instead of apple), be prepared that the result will be different from what is presented here.
