Pour tea leaves into a teapot, I prefer using a French press to brew tea, it's convenient to drink tea without tea leaves. Put the tea leaves into the teapot that has been pre-rinsed with boiling water. Bring half a liter of good clean water to a boil and brew the tea. Let the tea steep for a couple of minutes.
Add sugar to taste into the tea, as much as you like. Squeeze the juice of a fresh lemon directly into the teapot, you can squeeze enough juice to lighten the drink. Stir everything until the sugar is dissolved and strain the infusion.
You can also use brandy or whiskey instead of rum, but if you choose rum, it's better to use dark rum. Pour the alcoholic part and immediately drink our grog - it's very good when it's hot. If you want to take it with you on a winter walk or barbecue, or just make it in advance, store the drink in a thermos to preserve its warming effect.
