Without false modesty, I would say that this pie is beyond praise. It is tender, aromatic, and so delicious that you cut yourself not just one, but two pieces to have with tea. And the aroma that fills the kitchen when the pie is baking in the oven! My family said that I was making candies, specifically 'barberry' :) that's how rhubarb and poppy seeds played with new colors.
