Plums are an amazing fruit often used in dietetics. The calorie content of plums varies depending on the variety and ripeness, averaging around 50 kcal per 100 grams. Due to their low calorie content and satiety, plums are an excellent option for a snack between meals or for a light dinner. Additionally, plums are very beneficial for digestion, helping to normalize it. However, it is important not to overconsume this fruit, especially for those with stomach problems. For our dessert, it is recommended to choose firm plums to prevent them from turning into mush during preparation. Wash and dry the plums.

In a bowl, mix sour cream, sugar, honey, salt, and nutmeg. Adjust the sweetness according to your taste, as some plums are sweeter than others. I prefer to add one tablespoon of brown sugar for a contrasting flavor - the slightly sour plum complements the creamy taste of mascarpone. If you don't have cinnamon sticks, you can use ground cinnamon. Add it to the mixture at this stage and mix well. There are two ways to prepare the plums. The first method is to arrange the plums in a baking dish, pour in the prepared aromatic mixture, and add cinnamon sticks. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 20-30 minutes (depending on the ripeness of the plums). Stir the plums gently during cooking. The second method is to place the plums in a skillet with a thick bottom, pour in the spice mixture, add cinnamon sticks, cover with a lid, and simmer over medium heat. The important thing here is not to let the plums turn into a mush - they should maintain their shape while being soft.

Serve the dessert with baked plums while they are still warm. Place the plums on a plate and top with 2 scoops of mascarpone. If you're not a fan of this cheese, you can substitute it with vanilla ice cream.
