My children call this dish pizza on a baguette. Somewhere they are right - the filling, tomato paste, cheese - all this really reminds of pizza.

Here's how it's done. Pass the chicken breast through a meat grinder. Cut the zucchini (always use young ones with tender skin that you don't have to peel), sweet peppers, pickled cucumbers, and onions into small cubes. Peel the garlic and press it. Add all these vegetables to our ground meat.

Add an egg, salt, pepper, basil, oregano, and mix well.

Take a good handful of ground meat and press it against the baguette - it fits perfectly there. Make our sandwiches flat, taking into account that we will also need to add cheese on top. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (optional) and transfer the sandwiches onto it.

Put them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes. After that, take them out and sprinkle each one with cheese. I grated the cheese while the sandwiches were baking, but you can also simply slice it - it's even more convenient and faster. By the way, it doesn't matter what kind of cheese you choose. I had three different types - I managed to use up all the leftovers, which I grated onto the sandwiches. Return them to the oven for a couple more minutes until the cheese melts. You can also sprinkle some oregano leaves on top. Serve with tomato sauce or ketchup. Enjoy your meal!
